From an early age Dr. Winchel reaped the benefits of chiropractic care, which kept her game ready for volleyball and javelin seasons in high school and for competitive crossfit and weight lifting during her college years. In 2017, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology from Quinnipiac University. During her time at Quinnipiac University, Dr. Winchel was appointed president of the Quinnipiac nutrition club, and created community outreach programs and informational seminars to educate students on nutrition science and healthy lifestyle practices. She was also an ISSA certified group fitness instructor focusing her energy on empowering women to build confidence and strength through fitness.
Wanting to combine her love for fitness and nutrition with her passion for helping people reach their maximum potential, Dr. Winchel enrolled in the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and graduated in 2021 Summa Cum Laude and class salutatorian.
